Turn off all ceiling fans

Open all blinds when possible

Turn on all interior lights and lamps. Make sure all bulbs are in working order

Clear off counter tops in kitchen and bathroom areas, no soap dispensers, hand towels or countertop appliances.

Remove photos, magnets, notes and papers from the refrigerator

De-clutter rooms which may be excessively furnished

Make all beds and tidy bedrooms

Clothes hung, or folded and put away

Remove piles of newspaper and magazines

Tuck trash cans out of view in a closet or cupboard

Pick up all rugs

Loose wires/ cables out of sight as much as possible

Personal photos/ names on things removed

Contain pets in the garage or out of sight. Put away all water and food bowls

Wipe down all appliances

Remove all seasonal decorations

We normally do not photograph the garage, closets unless they have special features
